Kemenag Sleman News (MTsN 9 Sleman)- MTsN 9 Sleman terus berkomitmen dalam menciptakan lingkungan madrasah yang hijau, bersih, dan berkelanjutan dengan mengikuti program Adiwiyata. Sebagai bagian dari persiapan menuju Adiwiyata tingkat nasional, guru dan pegawai MTsN 9 Sleman dengan antusias mengikuti pemaparan program kerja Adiwiyata yang berlangsung pada Rabu (5/3/2025) di ruang keterampilan. Acara ini dikoordinatori oleh Dina Andriyanti selaku Koordinator Tim Adiwiyata dan dihadiri oleh seluruh guru pagawai MTsN 9 Sleman.
Dalam kegiatan ini, masing-masing tim memaparkan enam program utama Adiwiyata yang menjadi fokus madrasah, yaitu: program tamanisasi dan penghijauan yang bertujuan untuk memperindah lingkungan madrasah dengan berbagai tanaman hijau dan taman edukatif, program pembentukan karakter yang mengajarkan dan membiasakan seluruh warga madrasah untuk menerapkan pola hidup bersih, disiplin, dan peduli lingkungan, program konservasi energi yang bertujuan untuk mendorong efisiensi penggunaan listrik dan energi melalui penerapan kebijakan hemat energi di lingkungan madrasah, program konservasi air dan biopori yang bertujuan untuk menjaga ketersediaan air dengan pemanfaatan sumur resapan serta pembuatan lubang biopori untuk menyerap air hujan, program pengelolaan sampah yang mengedukasi siswa dan staf mengenai pentingnya pemilahan sampah, pengelolaan limbah organik, serta pengurangan sampah plastic, dan program publikasi yang bertujuan agar meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dan civitas akademika mengenai gerakan Adiwiyata melalui berbagai platform informasi dan media sosial.
Koordinator Adiwiyata, Dina Andriyanti menekankan bahwa keberhasilan program ini sangat bergantung pada partisipasi aktif seluruh warga madrasah. “Adiwiyata bukan sekadar lomba, tetapi budaya yang harus diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan komitmen yang kuat, kita dapat mewujudkan madrasah yang lebih hijau dan ramah lingkungan,” ujarnya.
Kepala MTsN 9 Sleman yakni Siti Juwariyah, dalam sambutannya mengapresiasi semangat dan dedikasi para guru serta pegawai dalam mendukung program ini. Ia berharap melalui kerja sama dan sinergi yang baik dari seluruh warga madrasah, MTsN 9 Sleman dapat mencapai predikat Adiwiyata Nasional pada tahun ini. Dengan berbagai program unggulan yang telah dirancang, MTsN 9 Sleman optimis dapat memenuhi kriteria sebagai sekolah Adiwiyata Nasional.
