Ekstrakurikuler Komputer di MTsN 9 Sleman adalah kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komputer. Program ini dirancang untuk membantu siswa memahami dasar-dasar penggunaan komputer, aplikasi perkantoran, dan dasar-dasar pemrograman. Dengan mengikuti kegiatan ini, siswa diharapkan mampu mengembangkan kemampuan teknologi mereka yang sangat berguna di era digital saat ini.
Visi:
Membentuk generasi muda yang melek teknologi, kreatif, dan inovatif melalui pembelajaran komputer yang menyenangkan dan bermanfaat.
Misi:
- Menyediakan pembelajaran teknologi yang berkualitas dan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman.
- Meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi perkantoran dan pemrograman dasar.
- Mengembangkan kreativitas dan inovasi siswa dalam bidang teknologi informasi.
- Mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan dunia digital di masa depan.
- Menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri dalam menggunakan teknologi dan memanfaatkan komputer untuk berbagai keperluan.
Kegiatan Utama:
- Dasar-dasar Microsoft Office: Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi perkantoran seperti Microsoft Word, Excel, dan PowerPoint untuk keperluan sehari-hari dan tugas sekolah.
- Desain Grafis: Belajar menggunakan software desain seperti Adobe Photoshop dan Illustrator untuk menciptakan karya grafis yang menarik.
- Jaringan Komputer: Mempelajari dasar-dasar jaringan komputer dan cara mengelola jaringan lokal.
- Proyek Teknologi: Mengembangkan proyek teknologi yang inovatif dan bermanfaat, baik secara individu maupun kelompok.
- Kompetisi IT: Mengikuti dan berpartisipasi dalam berbagai kompetisi teknologi informasi di tingkat lokal maupun nasional.
- Pemrograman Dasar: Pengajaran dasar-dasar pemrograman menggunakan bahasa pemrograman yang mudah dipahami seperti Scratch atau Python, untuk mengembangkan logika dan keterampilan problem-solving siswa.

- Laboratorium Komputer: Tersedia satu ruang laboratorium komputer yang dilengkapi dengan lebih dari 60 laptop modern yang siap digunakan untuk kegiatan pembelajaran dan praktek siswa.
