MTsN 9 Sleman Adakan Parenting Hari Kedua Bagi Wali Murid Kelas VIII

Sleman (MTsN 9 Sleman) – Kamis pagi (18/01/24) MTsN 9 Sleman gelar kegiatan Parenting yang diperuntukan bagi wali murid kelas VIII. Acara ini dimulai pukul 08.00 WIB dan berakhir pukul 10.30 WIB. Sehari sebelumnya telah diadakan kegiatan Parenting bagi wali murid kelas VII. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di ruang keterampilan. Acara dipandu oleh Warsun Munawir selaku Wakil Kepala bidang Kesiswaan. Acara dimulai dengan sambutan dari Siti Juwariyah selaku Kepala MTsN 9 Sleman. Ia menyampaikan pesan pada wali murid agar mendukung putra-putrinya giat mengikuti lomba offline/online minimal sekali dalam setahun dan juga menyampaikan hal-hal yang berkaitan tentang pentingnya peran orang tua dalam mendukung keberhasilan anak-anak.

                        Acara inti yakni materi parenting disampaikan oleh narasumber Muhammad Ariful Ulum yang merupakan seorang psikolog. Beliau menyampaikan parenting dengan tema “Mendidik Anak di Era Digital.”Muhammad Ariful Ulum mengungkapkan “Cara menyikapi anak-anak di era digital selain harus dengan bersabar yaitu kita harus melihat bentuk situasi yang melingkupi si anak. Zaman anak-anak sekarang memang berbeda situasi dengan zaman kita dulu. Contohnya dulu belum ada Hp, sekarang ada Hp yang tidak hanya untuk berkomunikasi saja melainkan juga bisa untuk bermain game serta media sosial. Oleh sebab itu, kita harus membangun jembatan masa depan bersama di sekolah dengan membangun jalan masa depan untuk anak-anak yang bernama harapan,” ungkap Muhammad Ariful Ulum.

                        Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Muhammad Ariful Ulum juga mengungkapkan bahwa mendidik anak yang bodoh tapi sholeh lebih mudah dibandingkan mendidik anak pintar akan tetapi tidak sholeh. Hal tersebut dikarenakan anak yang bodoh tapi saleh bisa dididik menjadi pintar dan mudah diarahkan, sedangkan mendidik anak yang pintar tapi tidak saleh itu jauh lebih sulit karena anak sulit diarahkan. Setelah pemaparan materi, acara dilanjutkan dengan sesi tanya jawab seputar parenting. Acara berakhir pukul 10.30 WIB setelah penyampaian informasi seputar madrasah oleh Umu Hani’ selaku Wakil Kepala bidang Kurikulum MTsN 9 Sleman.(YL)
