Kemenag Sleman News (MTsN 9 Sleman) – Dalam rangka menyambut dan memeriahkan Peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-80 Republik Indonesia, MTsN 9 Sleman menyelenggarakan kegiatan lomba antar kelas. Rangkaian kegiatan lomba yang dipertandingkan diantaranya yakni lomba Make-up dengan mata tertutup dan lomba balap karung dengan helm. Kegiatan lomba 17 Agustus ini dilaksanakan hari Jumat (15/08/2025). Untuk lomba Make-up dengan mata tertutup setiap kelas mengirimkan dua wakilnya, satu siswa sebagai model dan siswa satunya menjadi periasnya. Peralatan Make-up dibawa sendiri oleh siswa dari rumah.
Selanjutnya perlombaan balap karung memakai helm, setiap kelas mengirimkan satu perwakilan siswa putra. Pertama semua peserta memakai helm, helm disiapkan sendiri oleh semua peserta. Petunjuk permainannya peserta harus selalu memegang karung dengan kedua tangan. Sebelum aba-aba atau peluit dibunyikan, peserta berdiri dibelakang garis start, setelah aba-aba peserta berlari sambil memegang karung dan berjalan menuju garis finish.
Para penonton dibuat gemas melihat dua perlombaan tersebut, kemeriahan dan gelak tawa para penonton yang menyaksikan lomba menambah suasana gembira saat itu. Banyak peserta lomba balap karung yang jatuh di tengah jalan, hal ini menambah keriuhan dari para penonton yang menyaksikan. “Semoga dengan dilaksanakan lomba antarkelas ini, semakin memupuk rasa kebersamaan peserta didik. Alhamdulillah anak-anak antusias mengikuti kegiatan tersebut.” ujar Dwi Ari Wahyuni selaku Pembina OSIS. (YL/TN)
