Dukung Adiwiyata Nasional, Pengurus OSIS MTsN 9 Sleman Kelola Sampah Botol Plastik

Kemenag Sleman News (MTsN 9 Sleman)— Pengurus Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) MTsN 9 Sleman yang dikenal dengan Perosma melaksanakan kegiatan pengelolaan sampah botol plastik pada Senin (25/8/2025). Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memisahkan antara botol plastik dan tutupnya sebelum didaur ulang. Program pengelolaan sampah ini merupakan kegiatan rutin yang digagas OSIS sebagai bentuk kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekaligus mendukung madrasah dalam upaya meraih predikat Adiwiyata tingkat nasional.

Pengurus OSIS secara bergantian bertugas mengumpulkan botol plastik dari seluruh kelas, kemudian memilahnya sesuai ketentuan agar mudah dimanfaatkan kembali. “Kegiatan ini sudah menjadi agenda rutin OSIS. Kami ingin menanamkan kesadaran kepada teman-teman tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan dengan memilah sampah,” ungkap Alya Humairotus Sa’diyah selaku Ketua OSIS MTsN 9 Sleman.

Kepala MTsN 9 Sleman, Siti Juwariyah, memberikan apresiasi atas inisiatif OSIS. Menurutnya, kegiatan ini selaras dengan visi madrasah yang peduli terhadap lingkungan. “Program ini tidak hanya mendukung Adiwiyata, tetapi juga membentuk karakter siswa agar lebih bertanggung jawab terhadap kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan,” ujarnya.

Dengan langkah konkret seperti pengelolaan sampah botol plastik, MTsN 9 Sleman terus menunjukkan komitmennya untuk menciptakan lingkungan madrasah yang bersih, sehat, dan ramah lingkungan. Upaya ini juga diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan budaya peduli lingkungan yang berkelanjutan di kalangan siswa. Selain itu, partisipasi aktif seluruh warga madrasah menjadi kunci utama dalam menjaga kebersihan dan keasrian lingkungan. (IM)
