Sleman (MTsN 9 Sleman) — MTsN 9 Sleman kembali menunjukkan semangat berprestasi dengan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan Kompetisi Pelajar Alef Education (KOMPAC) cabang Bahasa Inggris yang dilaksanakan pada Rabu (8/10/2025). Kegiatan ini berlangsung secara online mulai pukul 13.30 hingga 15.00 WIB bertempat di laboratorium komputer MTsN 9 Sleman.
Dalam kompetisi ini, MTsN 9 Sleman mengirimkan empat siswa terbaiknya, yaitu Raya Essa Pratiwi (IXA), Alya Humairotussa’diyah (IXB), Xena Carissa Verin (IXC), dan Fira Rahmawati (IXD). Keempat siswa tersebut telah melalui proses seleksi dan pembinaan sebelumnya untuk mempersiapkan diri menghadapi ajang bergengsi ini.
Selama pelaksanaan lomba, mereka mendapatkan bimbingan dan pendampingan langsung dari Dina Andriyanti, guru Bahasa Inggris MTsN 9 Sleman yang juga menjadi guru pembimbing dalam kegiatan ini. Dengan semangat tinggi, para peserta mengikuti seluruh rangkaian kompetisi dengan penuh konsentrasi dan percaya diri.
Kepala MTsN 9 Sleman, Siti Juwariyah menyampaikan apresiasi atas partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan KOMPAC ini. “Kami berharap, keikutsertaan ini tidak hanya menjadi ajang mengasah kemampuan Bahasa Inggris, tetapi juga melatih mental kompetitif dan semangat berprestasi siswa di tingkat nasional bahkan internasional,” tutur Siti Juwariyah.
Melalui kegiatan seperti ini, MTsN 9 Sleman terus berkomitmen untuk mendukung pengembangan potensi dan bakat siswa, terutama dalam bidang akademik dan kompetisi digital yang relevan dengan tantangan abad ke-21. Dengan demikian, madrasah tidak hanya berfokus pada pencapaian prestasi, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter dan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang menjadi bekal penting bagi masa depan siswa. (CR)
